Make the Move to Celina

"

With a population that has tripled over the past 10 years, Celina is one of the fastest-growing cities in North Texas. It’s easy to see why.

Located near Prosper and McKinney, with easy access to the Dallas North Tollway and Highway 380, Celina is less than 30 minutes from Frisco, 35 minutes from Denton and 45 minutes from Dallas.

The city prides itself for offering a strong sense of community, excellent education options and the technology families need to be successful in the 21st century.

This sense of community permeates the master-planned communities that have been springing up around the city. Mustang Lakes is a country-club style community featuring breathtaking scenery, 15 lakes, numerous creeks and native oak trees. Other amenities include a clubhouse, fitness center, resort-style pool, sports courts, fishing dock and playgrounds.

Cambridge Crossing combines English charm with contemporary amenities. Set among lush landscaping and seven lakes, the master-planned community is an oasis for families looking for something a little different. The striking amenity center offers opportunities to swim, stay fit, meander along eight miles of trails, get competitive on the sports trails and just relax.

The two master-planned communities are served by Celina ISD and Prosper ISD. Both A-rated districts are known for strong academics, outstanding athletic programs and a commitment to the arts.

Celina ISD is one of the top 100 school districts for athletics according to Niche.com. The Bobcats have won more than 20 high school state championships across their sports programs. The high school also boasts an impressive band program receiving 11 consecutive sweepstakes awards over the years.

Prosper ISD serves nearly 22,000 students across 21 campuses. Niche placed it at No. 11 on its 2022 list of top school districts in Texas. It also ranks No. 5 out of 1,018 Texas districts for athletics. Prosper high schools offer Advanced Placement and dual enrollment courses.

Although small, Celina is Texas’ first Gigabit City. Every residence and business within the city has access to a minimum of one Gigabit (Gbps) connectivity speed. This open-access network boasts faster communication and internet speeds that help businesses, schools and people.

In addition to exploring the attractions of Frisco and Dallas, there is plenty to do in and near Celina including Eden Hill Winery, Caudalie Crest Winery, Carmela Winery, Preston Trail Farms, Old Celina Park, Ray Roberts Lake State Park and Rollertown Beerworks. The Celina Balloon Festival is one of 25 annual events the city sponsors.
